Genright Tube Fender Question

I'm thinking about ordering up some this weekend I was wondering from the people that have done them before, is it easy to reuse the inner fender well and how does it look/work?? Pictures would be nice if you have some.. I'm just trying to figure out if I should reuse my old one or buy the new one for another 150?

Thanks!
Michael

Nice set up! I was thinking about those too but I have 5 inches of lift so I decided against the high lines. Looks good though!

I'm using gen right aluminum. Great fenders. Inner liner needs to be trimmed and there is a gap towards the rear of the fender well.

What are the new inner fenders you mention? I would love to see an alternative.

Looks good! They have a set up for the fenders that gives you a new inner fender well so all the mud and everything didn't get all over your motor and it just looks a lot cleaner! I don't know if they have them for the jks. They should though.

Thanks I just realized I was in the TJ forum. The genright for TJ is really nice as well. We have installed them in the shop and they are first class.

Metalcloaks are not Hi Lines but they are complete fenders. What size tires you running with the 5" lift and going to flat fenders?

yeah you're right they always just seem like more of a high line because they angle up, I have 35 inch MTRs and yeah just the genright tube fenders with a 4 inch flare.

If you get the genright finders get then from 4wheel parts for 10% more they warranty them
For any thang you can do to them

Really?? I didn't know they had a warranty for any thing they sold. I try to stay away from them as much as possible because I've had nothing but problems most of the time I go there but I'll have to think about it.

I have a bumper and some daylighters from them. A year later a lady ran a stop sing nailed her drivers door. 4 wheel parts gave me a new bumper and a set of daylighters no questions. Turned the insurance check in finders and tires worked out good for me

Wow that really worked out good for you!

Has anyone seen a good write up for the Genright highline tube fender install? Kinda looked all around haven't found anything as detailed as I would like.

They might as well be. Your gaining height over stock fenders, as well as typical tube/flat fenders.

I am in the process of installing them now. Along with the new mini-boat still rock sliders. I plan on doing a brief write up with a few videos we took while fabricating. If you have never done much custom metal work its not a kit for you. It requires alot of fabricating to fit endless applications.

Buy the new ones. They are still difficult to fabricate to fit properly but your old ones will not work with high lines. I plan on doing a right up with more pictures and videos within the next week or so. Too busy working on mine after work to spend time on the computer!

If you don't get the gerights with the inner fender look at the ccfab 3" hood line fenders. They look the same and are made in the US as well.

Then here are some actual genrights
