Spacers amd custom wheels

I have a TF 2 1/2 lift on my 2012 and the Spidertrax 1.5 spacers required for 17 in stock rims. Recently I bought some Black Rock rims 17X8 and I am mounting some BFG KM2's 33's (285-70-17).

I'm thinking that I need to keep the spacers even though the new rims have 4.5 backspacing. And am leaning that way. Does anyone else run 33's with 4.5 BS custom wheels and 1.5 spacers???????

Will they stick out too far? I'm going from 8 in tread to 10 in so I'm giving up some clearance to the inside. What do you think?

I was originally going to put bigger tires on the stock wheels with spacers, so I bought a set of 1.5's. I decided to hold off and get wheels too, so I never put them on. I'm thinking the spacers plus wheels with less backspacing are going to make your tires stick out really far. Possibly to the point of looking goofy, though I'd love to see a picture before selling off my spacers.

I'd say about 3 to 4 inch past your fender.

I recently did 35s with 4.5bs. Wheels just barely stick out past fenders now. U may be able to see from this pic

285/70/17 Duratracs on 4.5 BS Addicts. Tires stick out a 2-3 inches. No spacers.

lynskey, are those wheels 9in wide? or 8's? BTW nice looking Jeep.

lynskey, are you running those with just the custom wheels with the 4.5 BS without a lift? I was looking at those same tires and putting 1.5 spacers on, but didn't know if I would still need a leveling kit or not.

Like the wheels by the way.
