On the fence on which way to go. I have 35's on my TJ and was looking to upgrade the front steering a little bit this year. I use this as my daily, and go to an off road park a few times a year. I mainly do the hills/trails part no Rocks. Is going the ZJ TRE route a good idea of a weekend warrior like myself, or is the Currie Set up my best route?

I have the zj setup on my jeep now..it has given me zero problems and is a upgrade from stock but as soon as something wears out im ditching it and going for the currie setup. If i were in your shoes id get the currie and call it a day instead of buying twice like im gonna do

Im installing the ZJ tierod this weekend along with my lift.
The zj set up is well worth it for about $100. The currie is over 400. You will not be sorry with the zj. I run it and its great.

For 35s and wheeling, I'd go above ZJ. I've had a ZJ tie rod with 33s for a few months and will be upgrading to aluminum alloy next weekend. The ZJ tie rods are only slightly stronger than stock. The good thing about them is it is easier to bend them back if they do bend.

In did run the ZJ but got tired of the weak TRE's or maybe it is because of them not working at the best angles when used on a lifted Jeep. I have since went with Currie again not so much for the 1.25 diameter arms but the much larger TRE and a design that puts the TREs at their optimum working angles on lifted Jeeps. I had Currie steering on my last TJ for about 10 years and thought I would save money on this TJ and went with ZJ TR . I didn't save anything as now it sits in the corner waiting to be reinstalled the day I sell this Jeep.

Oh well i only paid $70 for the zj kit. Heck my jeep hasnt seen offroad yet, only had her a month and will be running 33s
