Apex Front JK Bumper from Full Metal Fabworks

Apex Front Bumper

http://i1309.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9aab784f.jpg
Features:
-The Apex front bumpers are engineered using Solidworks software, laser cut from 3/16th plate steel, and CNC brake formed.
http://i1309.photobucket.com/albums/...ps67c82eca.jpg
- The Apex features integrated winch mounting holes to accept most winches with the standard 10x4.5 mounting pattern.
- Integrated fog light holes and mounts retain stock fog lights, and the rear stiffener bracing incorporates convenient laser cut slots for fastening the stock fog light harness up and out of harmís way.
Multiple Stinger Options: We offer two options for stingers: A single bend, traditional style stinger and a 2-bend, pre-runner style stinger. Both stinger options are laser notched and bent from 1.75x0.120 seamless D.O.M tubing. Both stingers also feature laser notched DOM tube gussets for additional strength and protection.

-An additional feature is the incorporation of the logo. We opted out of the traditional laser cutout of our logo and instead had 3 piece badges water jetted and TIG welded together.

-Optional high clearance recovery mounts. Designed to accept a 3/4' D-ring shackle with a 7/8" pin. Shackles sold separately.

Bumpers are designed to fit the 2012 Wrangler JK. Although our solid works drawings say they will fit on other year models, we have not tested this bumper in any other configuration and therefore cannot guarantee fitment on any other model at this time, but we will update the thread as soon as we are able to test fit different year models. Bumpers require relocation of the Jeepís vacuum pump, all bumpers ordered for 2012 and newer jeeps are shipped with a bolt-on relocation bracket that does not require any drilling, cutting, or rewiring.
Pricing and options:
-Bare, no stinger option:$475
-Bare, single bend stinger: $600
-Bare, 2 bend stinger: $610
-Powder coated satin black, no stinger option: $575
-Powder coated, single bend stinger: $650
-Powder coated, 2 bend stinger: $660
-Add $50 for optional recovery shackle mounts

Weekend bump

HunterTheBeagle 07-01-2013 10:35 PM

I may have just missed it but what is the approximate weight of the bumper? Also do you know if a front lower skid is in the works for it, or if another front skid would work with it. I really like the look of it!! :thumb: Thanks.

PM sent, and for those interested the Apex front weighs right at 59 lbs bare without a stinger, and 70lbs with a stinger, powder coated and ready to ship.

I am in love with this bumper and I'm also curious about a lower skid option.

Nick, Thanks for the compliment. We are currently tossing around the idea of doing a slight re-design of the fronts ( keep the same look while simplifying the manufacturing process) and this would include a skid. We're not sure which way we are going on it at the moment, but there will either eventually be a new and improved version with a skid or this version will get that option added to it. The current bumper however is kind of a balance between being very thin where a skid is a must and a big bulky bumper that hangs below the crash bar. As it sits there is a nice transition from the bumper to the crash bar, so as long as it is left in place all of the goodies ( i.e - vacuum pump and swar bar disconnects on the rubis) should be well protected. I hope this answered any questions you may have, but give us a call or shoot us a pm if you have any more and we will get you taken care of.
Thanks,
Full Metal Fabworks
