Noise from engine when revs over 2500

Hey guys,

1998 6cil manual

I have been listening a new sound.. It happens when idle if I accelerate over 2500rpms or 1st or 2nd although it happens on ahigher rpm live 4000 I think it doesnt happen on any other gear..

I recorded the sound from the hood and also from inside to see if this is familiar to anyone

Could it be something going bad that runs off the belt? Alternator maybe? Pulley?

I was inspecting and paying attention to that area but it seems the noise comes from below the engine

Check you enhine mounts. I had a sound like that and couldnt figure it out then next thing you know I could only reach 5th and rev. Because mount busted and engine dropped. Good luck.
