HELP, trying to take dash panel off 2013 and window wire harness too SHORT or stuck

I followed all directions but when trying to pull the window control box out to take the plug off the back it literally won't pull more then 1 - 1.5 inches out of the opening so I can't even get near the red clip or the harness plug to unplug it. Now this also stops me from pulling the dash panel off as I can't get to that last 7mm screw.....

I figured it out. I had to remove the right center vent using the screw driver stuck in the hole trick and could then reach the plug release.

Remove the vent to the right of the power window module first. It makes removing the module easier. The trick to removing the vent is explained in this video:

Cool that you found it.

Just curious. Why are you removing the module?

Put in the RBZ mygig to replace my 130. Figured i would give it a spin while I save up for an ipad mini install.
