The gears in your differential are low (or numerically high). I have 4.10 gears (I think, not positive but pretty sure) and I can't pass 65.

nice looking jeep, the minute that you add large tires the gears become the problem, also was wondering do you standard or auto?

I've got the same problem..
When we switched to the 31" top speed is 65-75. thats pretty much all there is..

but there seems to be plenty of low end tork left.

29" seemed to perform the best on 4.10 gears for me.

I have 4.10s and 33s.

3.07 gears, end of story. If you had 4.10 with 33's, and 6 cyl you could easily cruise at 70 mph. Cheapest fix is put a 4 cyl drivetrain under it, 4.10 is stock on those.
