Added Poison Spyder Fenders

I decided to hack up my front fenders this weekend, and install Poison Spyder De-Fenders. I chose aluminum with a 3" flare. They're a nice addition to my Ricochet Rockers, and Rear 3" flares. I powder coated them all in texture black.

Before swapping front and rear flares....

Rear flares installed....

Front getting cut up....

Almost complete. Waiting for back plates to be painted red, and I still need to install turn signals....

Looks awesome. Been looking at these myself. How much lift are you running? I assume you have 33s too?

Your Jeep is beautiful! What a beast. Love those fenders too. The only thing I notice now is that it COULD look better with a stubby front bumper. Personal preference obviously...the width of the bumper is just more noticeable now because it no longer has fenders to come up and meet.

Again, looks awesome man. I was browsing thru some of your pics and noticed you have a front bombshell diff cover. Do you have any clearance issues with that and your TB?

Funny you mention that.....It's the FIRST thing I noticed! :whistling: I'm thinking about dumping the XRC bumper for something stubier.

No issues with the Bombshell clearing.

Well then...I can confidently say it will make your Jeep look more aggressive. And possibly give you a better approach to some obstacles.

Nice job, they look great black (I left mine in their natural aluminum state)! Nice photos too, thanks for writeup!

TreeClimber1 05-20-2013 07:11 PM

Look nice. I did mine a year or so ago, and I'm very pleased.

just wondering if we can get some more pics of when your done painting the panels other than that very nice looking rig:thumb:

beaureed445 05-21-2013 08:58 AM

While I had everything out of the way, I went ahead and yanked my Pro Comp shocks out and swapped in some Bilsteins.

BrutusTheTJ01 05-21-2013 11:56 AM

Good call on the bilstiens..they're like riding on a cloud

I went ahead and pulled the trigger today on a PSC BFH with Brawler Bar.

Here's an updated pic, with the spiders painted. I picked up my BFH bumper from the powder coater today, so it'll get installed tonight.

Nothing but a jeep thing 06-07-2013 04:21 PM

Quick question, how much and did u sell your old fenders?? My friend said that he sold his stock and it pretty much paid for the new ones.

beaureed445 06-07-2013 04:29 PM

I haven't sold the old ones yet.....Honestly, I just haven't had time to screw with it. They're sitting in storage, but I've heard that they could bring anywhere from $275- $600.

Well they look awesome and I would love to have something similar, just need to sell the stock ones for some cash money.

Are these the 15x10 or 15x8 fuel revolvers? They look nice!
