I was cleaning my intake system in my garage just a minute ago and after it was done I was blowing out all the carbon and my engine light came on, the only things I did was put cleaner in the gas tank, and disconnected my brake booster line for the fuel injector cleaner hose, I checked my gas cap and the brake booster line and both were on tight, so im not to sure what it could be, how do you reset the light on wranglers? I know its impossible do diagnose this on the internet, I don't know just wondering if anyone out there has done this and the light came on thanks you guys!

you can get the code ran to see why your light came on and then it will reset the light.

I know this thread will get back on track but I'm gonna hijack it for a second - 2x with the hotties assistance :) don't know about yall's grocery stores but ours here have the grocery baggers offer assistance to your vehicle no matter what you're buying. I'll buy a 6 pack or a tall boy or something and if the girl is hot I'll have her take it to my Jeep... dates... none of course cuz I'm married buy hey... I can look can't I? :D

North Dallas here. Most of them say they're happy to take stuff to your vehicle cuz they want to get outta the store for a few minutes, but I still tip them. Some try to not accept but I still get it to them.

sorry about the hijack wave... not the same vehicle but i had a silverado that would give me an engine light any time i cleaned the throttle body or disconnected the O2 sensor. usually driving it around for a few miles made the light go off but a couple times i had to disconnect the battery and reconnect it. can't say i would recommend this and i'm sure a few will chime in... but it was a temporary issue for me... nothing i worried too much about.
