To those of you running the round LEd tail lights, what kind did you buy? and what are you now doing for your tag light? I dont want to relocate my tag because of my rear swing out spare carrier and bumper. Pis would be great also. Thanks

I bought the Blazer brand, from walmart. They're like 15 bux each. I'm not running a tag light. I got rid of the tag bracket, and just bent it around the corner. Here's what she looks like.

They both look great thanks. I'm keeping the tag light so not to get pulled over for not having it.

Did you have to do any cutting or anything

Not to the Jeep, no. I made a pair of 1/4" thick aluminum discs the same diameter as the tail lights and bolted those to the tub via the stock tail light holes. Then drilled and tapped the discs for the LED tail lights.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004HA...f_=cm_sw_su_dp I was thinking with goin with these, wts ur opinion, clear or red?

That's up to you. I personally don't like clear tail lights. Just know, those are flush mount, so you'll have to cut a large hole in the tub.

Dewstr1: where did you get your reverse lights? Possibly provide a link?

Only problem is he must have kept the stock flasher because it blinks really fast. What flasher do you guys use for normal blink?

Here's mine. Grote 4" Stop/Turn/Tail, 2" LED back-ups from E-bay, side marker lights from Tractor Supply and an inexpensive tag light from the local auto parts store, mounted upside down underneath the tag.

Yes, you do have to cut 4.5" holes for the flush mount tail lights - same as any other flush mount round lights. Easy work with a hole saw. You also have to cut a 3/4" or 1" (can't remember which) hole for the tag light and drill some small holes to mount the side marker lights.

Cutting the holes in the tire carrier for the back-up lights was the real pain. The drivers side was easy with a 2 1/4" hole saw, put the passenger side actually cut into the interal support for the hinge (much thicker metal) and I had to use the plasma cutter to open the hole up.

There's a thread on here, that tells how to modify the flasher.....that's what I did.
