My Bro finally got his new tires and rims and is thinking about not getting a lift because he likes the look and wants to keep it as low as possible. His off-roading is mostly woods roads and he doesn't do any rock crawling so he is wondering what he can do to smooth out the ride and improve handling. Been looking around and not finding much to do with suspension upgrades with no lift. Looking for suggestions or links on the subject. When he was thinking about getting a lift he was willing to spend up to $4k on a lift + shocks and speedbumps so he has a healthy budget but doesn't know where to put his money. Appreciate any help you guys can offer. Thanks!
I mean he could still get the speed bumps if he wanted. And he could get shocks if he wanted too. As far as coils, most of the stuff available aftermarket either lifts or lowers and he doesn't want that.
I'd say do a small spacer lift and throw some rancho9000 adjustable shocks in there with speed bumps
I'd do some Synergy 1" springs and quality shocks like OME Sports. That will give him barely any lift while evening out the rake and improving the ride.

Ok lets say he added the Synergy 1" springs & speedbumps is there anything else he should be looking at to improve ride quality other than shocks?
What about shocks? I know he is not interested in the Rancho9000 adjustable shocks so what others should he be looking at for this setup? Thanks!
That is probably how I would go to save money but he is just interested in improving the off-road ride without lifting. Would the speedbumps not do this?
Ok looks like he is going to go with the TeraFlex 1.5" Performance Leveling Kit and Rancho RS9000XL. I convinced him to wait on the speedbumps and see if he really needs them after adding the previous items. He didn't want the Ranchos because some guy that doesn't sell them said they were crap but I couldn't find much in the way of bad reviews and suspect the guy was just trying to sell what he had in stock. I thought they were worth a try at this low price point especially with the adjustments. Any reason not to go with the TeraFlex 1.5" Performance Leveling Kit and Rancho RS9000XL? I'm also wondering about steering stabilizers and aftermarket bump stops...yay or nay? Thanks!
