Belt question

So I just bought a 94 wrangler and I was going to change the belt on it. My jeep has both power steering and AC. Turns out, there is no AC compressor..the belt I got is for power steering and with AC. The belt is about a foot too long (since the compressor isn't there). I really don't want to have to buy a compressor either. I bought it mainly to have for pleasure during summer time (top off doors
Off.) My question is, would I be ok to just swap the belt I bought for the one measured for no AC?

This is the first jeep I've owned, and I am very new to jeep parts. Any and all help you guys/girls could give me would be greatly appreciated!!

It's the 2.5, 5 speed if that makes a difference?

You cant but the belt you were running might be worn and loose now. So if you measure it you will have to take that into account. Best to go back and order the correct part. It could save you a head ache :thumb:

That's not good. Try getting the one for the same thing but without AC. Worst thing is it won't fit and you return it. That's what I would do

I got the one for no AC and it worked.
Drove it about 15 miles, and now the belt is a groove off of the crank shaft pulley. It's still on and runs but it isn't in all the grooves. Could that be because I didn't tighten the belt enough? Or maybe the psp pulley isn't on enough/too much? (I just replaced psp pulley.)
