10th Annv Winch Plate, Winch, Hoop, and Light Brackets by Maximus-3

I finally found a vendor that has a working winch plate and bumper additions for the 10th Annv! So far so good, the parts are really well made and I love the way that everything fit together. The hoop on this is super stiff and when rocking the jeep by pushing around on the hoop it moves the whole jeep! :punk:

Here are some pics I snapped of it all together! You guys are all right, modding these bad boys is like a drug! :thumb:

Now onto some pics!

Where did you get info for ordering? I don't see the 10A plate listed on their website.

That's a great looking set-up.

n3tfury 06-03-2013 11:24 AM

Pretty nice for a non-stubby!

brian d 06-03-2013 11:32 AM

Not judging it at all or saying its a bad thing, but that steak going into the frame rail pocket looks a little small. I know the one on my warn mount took up the whole pocket. I'm not saying it is a bad design or anything, just something I noticed. Looks great tho!

TxJeepDog 06-03-2013 11:34 AM

Sweet!!

That is the mounting bracket to reinforce the hoop. I am going through my iphone for the picture I took of the winch on the plate. I will upload that in a minute here. :thumb:

Here are some shots of the winch plate itself (ignore the black bolts in the bumper bolt spots, I just put those there to hold it up).

No problem brian d! It is super thick steel and it mounted using all the factory spots. I didn't have to drill anything so it was super quick to install!

What process is used to center the fairlead ? I can't believe Jeep would actually put the fairlead opening off-center.

We used a hole saw to cut a larger opening to center out the fairlead. And to answer your other question Jeep does have the fairlead off center.

I wonder if he plans to offer the light brackets separately? I like the mount and the light tabs, but don't see the need for the hoop.

Give them a call at 1-248 821 6654 or email them at sales@maximus-3.com, they got back to me promptly back when I first called them looking to see if they were making parts for the JKUR10A. :punk:

I'm picking up my complete kit this Saturday. It's my understanding that you can buy all the parts individualy.

I take it you havn't tried to take off the bumper ends yet?

If/When you do, let me know what kind of reaction you get from the dealership on the warranty for it.

Can you mount the hoop without taking the bumper off? I'm too lazy to go out and look, lol! And did you get the red hawse from maximus also? Looks like there server is currently down.

I am interested in the hoop, but want to make sure it will not block access to the Mopar hood lock. Hard to tell from those pictures.

Does anyone have both the Maximus hoop and Mopar hood lock installed?

photostu 08-04-2013 09:33 AM

The hoop alone would require removing the bumper for the brackets that it connects to.

I have Mopar hood lock with Maximus hoop/winch mount and works great. Can't post pic driving back from CO trip. Maximus-3 package is TOP quality.

CalgaryHighlander 08-10-2013 02:25 PM

I installed the Maximus Hoop last weekend. Haven't installed a winch yet due to budgetary constraints.
I am a complete moron when it comes to anything involving tools.
Had to remove the front bumper in order to get the reinforcement brackets on.
It didn't take very long to do the install.
Remove the winch cover first and that will make it easier for you to get behind some of the bolts.
Looks great, rock solid and great quality.

Excellent, thanks.

When you get back, if you get the chance, could you upload a pic?

That should be enough to get me to order.
