I was refered to Halcon Communications in Downey by a few fellow Jeepers. I bought a Uniden pro 510xl there last week along with antenna, cable, quick disconnect. The prices were a little more then you can buy for on Amazon, but that's fine with me as they were a small local shop and could answer all my questions. You get what you pay for IMO. Only thing they didn't have was the Teraflex mount for the tire carrier so i got that frpm 4Wheel parts. I installed everything, took it back yesterday and they adjusted my antenna with their meter for $15. If you are local and need CB or radio stuff this is a great place.

I'm gonna save this thread for my accessories phase.

+1 on these guys. CB shops are getting few and far between in SoCal.

I recently had reason to visit these guys and their customer service and knowledge was fantastic.

I will continue to recommend and use them.

Glad to here they hooked you up, price well i work retail price is not always a factor. Customer service goes beyond the $20 bucks you can save on amazon. Ill check it out next meeting.

They are where myself and dusty Dave got our stuff. Nice people.

I purchase antennas from here, but never ever ever let them open any of my radios! If you want to learn how to adjust your own antennas and why, I'd be glad to help you...for free!

Trailchaser562 06-18-2013 09:08 AM

Why wouldn't you let them open up your radio?
