could always fab a bracket for a surface mount diffused red dually but it would be a tad bright for the poor folk behind ya

Thanks for the reply. I'm not looking to use it as a stop lamp. I want to have the extra lighting for night rides. I'm sure fabing one wouldn't be hard. I just don't want to buy a welder. I guess I could just cut all the pieces I need and take them to the welding shop.

I saw one at a Go Topless day that was an arm that came out from behind the spare on the drivers side and bent toward the back a little. I didn't care for it to much because it looked like it was hanging in the middle of nowhere. I was just looking at mounting a single row Rigid on top of the 3rd brake light on my '08. Just need to save up some more coin.

This I what I'm thinking. I know you any really see but buy should be enough to get a general idea.

I am look for the exact same thing. I need to mount some Rigid diffused LEDs for camp/work lights.

The 'easy' way of mounting them is to use a trail rack and install them there. My wife's JKU has a Garvin rack that fits above the spare and mounting that way would be very easy.

The other way is to fab a custom CHMSL pedestal with perpendicular arms to hold the lights and a switch on the tailgate to control the lights.
