Bench seat help

Does anybody know of a solid bench seat that I can either make mounts for or that will boltdown that will fit into my 82 cj7. Maybe out of a ranger or s10 or something

I've heard Ranger.
I've also heard that some mini-van center-row seats may be good candidates.

Good luck!

I had a ranger seat in an CJ-7. I replaced it with Best Top seats and I cannot remember how it was put in. Too many years ago I guess but it fit perfectly. The Jeep had an automatic transmission so shifting wasn't an issue.

A few CJ7s were equipped with an optional factory bench seat that was bolt in. These seats were standard in the CJ10As. They pop up for sale from time to time. I have a couple of them and may be interested in selling one if you are interested or haven't found an alternative bench seat that would work for ya.

I had this setup in my 72 CJ5. It was really pretty kewl and made it easy to sit an extra kid in the jeep if necessary. I would look around for that setup but remember, the pre-75s had different seat mounts.
