$29,300 for sport s after tread lightly

24S package
Connectivity group
Trailer tow group
Power convenience group
Side airbags
Automatic transmission
3.73 gear ratio
Anti spin differential
Deep tint
Black piece hard top

29300 or close to that by $50. Sound good or no?

panthermark 06-10-2013 04:47 PM

Post the MSRP and invoice. Hard to say what a good deal is without seeing that information.
Also, is that OTD or just the price of the vehicle?

Blastek 06-10-2013 04:51 PM

4 door or 2 door? Judging by price it looks like a 4 door. Power should be included with the 24S package. So should tint?

I priced out a 2013 unlimited sport with the same options and got $28,752 invoice and $30,075 MSRP. With tread lightly you should be at $28,464?

Use edmunds.com

lolpetewtf 06-10-2013 04:53 PM

I paid $27k for my S.

Auto
Side Airbags
(3.21)
Deep Tint Hardtop
Power Group

I didn't want connectivity and all that stuff since I ripped out the stereo when I bought it.

SilverSport 06-10-2013 05:00 PM

Seems a bit high.

woah_amie 06-10-2013 05:04 PM

I just got quoted $26,687 w/o TL

en1ma 06-10-2013 05:08 PM

It's $995 higher because of destination charge... :/

en1ma 06-10-2013 05:09 PM

26700 with all those options?

You have more options.

en1ma 06-10-2013 05:15 PM

Sticker was: 30970

Invoice is: 29578.

FPP is: 29347

It would be $28574 without delivery fee but that's how it is in California.

Here is final price attached

en1ma 06-10-2013 05:37 PM

That's 4 down. 1k rebate. 3% financing.

en1ma 06-10-2013 05:41 PM

Wow I just realized everything is wrong because above is not for 4 door. Ok. Sorry will be back.

dspud 06-10-2013 05:54 PM

Dude, that's more than I paid for my 10 month old, 7,000 mile FULLY loaded 4 Dr Sahara. Pic attached. Deal better or go somewhere else, or go used like I did and get a much better deal!

en1ma 06-10-2013 06:02 PM

California has 9% sales tax.

Factory invoice of what I want (unlimited) is: $32,172 off of true car.com

+ taxes 9% will be like 35k total price.

-1% from tread lightly will make it $321 less than factory invoice. The only better side I can see is if I get 2% under invoice or 3 but at end of day that's only saving me $600ish which is no big deal to me.

jadmt 06-10-2013 06:15 PM

when it comes to buying, get what makes you happy as there will always be people who tell you they got their decked out rubicon for free and that regardless of the deal you got they got better. Been that way since Al Gore invented the internet.

^This. And in some cases, you're better off not even telling people.

en1ma 06-10-2013 06:34 PM

Yeah good points. Thanks. I guess I was posting to make sure I'm not doing anything dumb but I realize invoice is invoice my wiggle room is 1-3% from that. Thanks!

corvallisbattery 06-10-2013 08:00 PM

I got my 2013 JKR fully loaded.. all but navigation.. $29,995 with tags, title and registration. I know I got a hell of a deal, but still... your price seems a bit high...

en1ma 06-10-2013 11:34 PM

I don't know how that's possible considering invoice price itself is $32,172.

it's the internet anything is possible. I got a 2013 jkur fully equiped for $3.10 and they are giving me fuel for life...........and building me a garage to put it in.

rijowysock 06-10-2013 11:38 PM

if you guys think invoice is their actual invoice,,.... then you need to look for gullible on the ceiling... if that was invoice they would be in debt on every car.. invoice is just a made up paper.. their true cost is FAR below that..

10% off sticker is a good place to start.. i've been offered 20% on a few undesirable setups (no AC) brand new...

but this is just the usual w/ car sales.

10% off INVOICE? niiiice :thumb:
Most dealerships look at you like you've been smoking too much of that good stuff.

Amen!

en1ma 06-11-2013 12:18 AM

Yeah you're right. I already made my purchase and going back and forth on the numbers is just going to depress me on "eff I could've gotten better" - I feel like I got a good price. The only thing I feel like crap about is taxes as that added around $2.6k to the cost but that's just how it is in L.A. 9%!!! Thanks all.

Sticker is MSRP, not invoice. 10% off MSRP isn't unreasonable. :thumb:

For most of the options, 11% off MSRP is about invoice. When you want to know the invoice price of an option, you can usually multiply it by .891...that will be pretty close to invoice.

For the 2013's, the invoice for a a base Sport was about 97.2% of MSRP, and invoice for a base Sahara/Rubu was about 94.5% of MSRP.
