Rotating 35's

I was told to rotate my Goodyear MTR's every oil change to prevent uneven wear.

They are directional tires so I need to know your thoughts on this.

Thanks!!!

You can go front to back, back to front on the same side, I'm no expert and I'm sure someone will weigh in, but at least that will prevent the front from going faster then the back

This is a pretty common mistake made by many. The MTR Kevlars are NOT directional tires but rather assymetrical. The Kevlars can be cross rotated and are not limited to front and rear rotating only.

Or a 5 tire rotation to prolong life. Size has nothing to do with it. Aggressive tires seem to need more frequent rotations to prevent cupping/uneven wear.

Interesting subject!

I have the 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers & a 5th full size spare, how would you fellas rotate these? Just curious because I only have 500 miles on them at this point & will need to figure out how I want to rotate them. Thanks. :thumb:

Spare to passenger rear,
passenger rear to passenger front, passenger front to driver rear,
driver rear to driver front,
driver front to spare mount
