tire size?

Hey guys i bought a 1997 wrangler se with the 5 speed. Bought it from the original owner and it has 95k miles. Got a crazy deal:) I ordered some mickey thompson sidebiters last night and its a stock suspension. Im looking at getting some more agressive tires and heard that 31s would destroy my power (which is limited) so whats a tire smaller than 31s that have very agressive tread and are for a 8" wheel. Thanks

31x10.5x15 's are fine for your setup w/no lift. You have 4.10 gears and should be ok to even go up to 32's but with a lift.

MT/R's get me through anything Offroad and behave well on road too.

I'm running 32's on my se without a gear change and do just fine...

I've got an SE AUTOMATIC with 3.73 on 31's and it's not bad at all and around my area there are hills everywhere... so I imagine a five speed with 4.10 will be alright. I just put on duratracs on and I love it they are great in mud, gravel, rocks, and on road
