Complete axle swap.
So I have a friend who is about to upgrade to 60s front and rear in his JKUR it has 4.10 stock gears. So he is willing to let me pick up both complete assemblies for 1000 bucks plus my stock Dana 30 and rear 44 along with an AEV Pro Cal.

So both Jeeps are 2012. He needs my axles installed back in his Rubicon till the shop finishes building his Dana 60s. So I will need an AEV pro cal for his I already have one for mine.

I am going to order the rubicon wiring for the lockers and the OEM button panel he wants to keep that I sure ain't gonna complain.

But basically I can do the axle swap on both that is no problem. Once I pull my axles and install in his Jeep all I should have to do is program in the 3.73 with the pro cal and he can drive away correct?

No extra configuration or anything is there?

I also already have a Pro cal for mine so I can change my computer form 3.73 to 4.10

My rear D44 has LSD if that make any difference.

From what reading I have done this would be basically like a re gear in the sense of putting the new ratio into the computer. The brake calipers will not be moved over with the Axles both Jeep will keep their current calipers, and all sensors should be the same unless the Rubicon as something different other than the locker plug. I will not be changing the electric sway bar disco. He is keeping that as well, I cant not use it with my bumper set up regardless.

Sorry first message was done from my phone.. I was a little excited miss typed some info.

My JKU is a 2012
His JKUR is a 2008 he only has around 15k miles, that is less than my 2012 has on it so that is why I had a few concerns about capability of everything I know it will all bolt together fine but I want to make sure everything electrical will play nice together.

They will bolt right up... Yes you will need to reprogram for gearing. I'm not sure about the lockers and if you will need a dealer flash to be able to run them.

Ok well my end that is no big deal. I just want to make sure his Jeep can drive off with out any lights or other stuff coming on.
