what tires will a 4in lift clear
Im wondering if i can put 35's on my jeep with a 4 in lift or do i have to stick with 33's?

I have 33s on a 4 inch lift. To put 35s on I think I would have had to replace the drive shaft which would have been another $800.

ok thanks id like to have 35's but id also like to not have to replace to many pieces and spend a bunch of money

35s if a huge amount of work. Keep researching. Fitting is the easy part, hell you can fit 35s on stock with the right fenders or an angle grinder. Majority of the money spent will be on starting, stopping, and pointing those big rubbers in the right direction.

I have a 2010 JKU with a 4" lift, stock fenders and 35" BFG's. Don't have any problems during flex or droop.

You will need a 1" body lift, your axles will need to be geared for the larger tires 4.10s or lower (4.56s, 4.88s), your brakes will need to be able to stop these larger tires, your steering will need to be firm enough to fight the side-to-side forces caused by the larger tires - requiring components upwards of the OEM components.

I have a 2013 JKU automatic with 3" lift & 35's. Seems to work fine but theme from many threads seems to be less lift will prolong parts. Probably could have accomplished what I wanted to with a 2.5" lift.

first question should be what do you drive?
