North Jersey tires

Heya guys, I'm doing a 2" lift soon and I have a question about what tires to get for offroading. What's best for the terrain in north jersey or pa? All weather tires or mud? This is not my dd. Also, where did you guys go to get them? I was thinking about DTD and shipping to my work.

Thanks

Like Lar said, Duratracs are great. Tons of great reviews.

I love my Dick Cepek FCIIs. I love the way they look, they hum on the road, they work well in every offroad situation and they say Dick on them which has got to be worth something.

I am very pleased with my treadwright re-treads. I went with the Guard Dog mud terrain, but it has great road manners even with the aggressive tread.

Thanks for input guys! Gixxer, hopefully I'll be able to make a Sparta or stokes run soon.

BTW, if you want to stick with the 31s, I strongly suggest the BDS 2in kit with shocks and springs. Huge difference.

I'll keep that in mind. I was hoping to do a 2" lift when I get a little more cash, but haven't picked out a brand yet. Thanks for the info.

Work, I've looked on the net and drove over to OK4wd. For me, I'm going with the teraflex coil and spring for about 700. Ok4wd quoted me 900 for an AEV lift and 600 more to install. I'm gunna do it in my driveway.

The BDS kit was only around 450 straight from BDS, including shipping. You might be able to find it cheaper. The BDS kits get great reviews.

Start spraying everything with PB Blaster now. Even after that, I broke both right rear upper shock bolts. I just drilled new holes next to the busted ones.

Lee, I was thinking, I still have my Teraflex 2in spacers. You can have them for free. :thumb:

It's a good way to get a couple more inches of clearance. And you can still get away with stock shocks. It's not as good as a proper lift, but it'll hold you over until you can get one.

Sounds great. Maybe next time there's a Sparta or Stokes trip I can grab them off you.

Cool, or maybe even at Island Beach. I'm planning on heading there tomorrow.
