Rattling sound coming from front driver wheel?!

Hey guys, new here. I've been having this rattling sound (kind of like a chatter) coming from my front left wheel. (at least that's where i think its coming from) Sounds the loudest there when i do slow drive bys. It only does it at slow speeds and goes away when i apply even the slightest amount of brakes. I thought it was something to do with the brakes of course so I took off all four wheels and checked all four brakes and everything looked fine and nothing seemed loose to cause rattling. The driver front tire also sounds like it has a nail or rock in the tread but I've checked, double checked, and triple checked the damn thing and it has nothing. This started after i got in a little accident and jumped a center median. I'm planning to start working on it in a few weeks after i get my bike fixed and running again and any directions on where to start would be great!

Check the u joints in the front axle yokes

I concur, probably just the front axle u joints. I just did mine as well. Grab the u joint and wiggle it back and forth, if you hear the clicking, or there is much movement, replace.

Anyone know ifthat was the problem for sure? I am having that same sound coming from my driver's side wheel.

If you worked on the brakes look at the dust shields for evidence of rubbing. You may have to remove the calipers and rotors.

Just had it lifted a week or so ago. Could that have been a contributing factor? At first I had the death wobble and we took car of that with long arms and steering stablelizer.

Long arms. So you have a TJ or JK ? It could be a hub or u joint going out.

A proper steering does not need a steering damper all they do is hide issues.

I have an 05 TJ. What could cause this problem? I have less 60 on her. Only had it off road twice. It's lifted 3"
