Looks like a blinged out work truck ;)

Lusus_Naturae 06-19-2013 02:32 AM

Are those 20's? I haven't seen larger wheels on a Jeep, they don't look bad for a city Jeep.

jonpriority 06-19-2013 02:35 AM

Jeep Wranglers are very rare over here, havent even seen another one since I got this 3 months ago, Trade in my Dodge Nitro which I owned for 6 years, great car. I like to be noticed for my business so always try to get something different!

jonpriority 06-19-2013 02:38 AM

Welcome! That's pretty sharp for a work rig, I like it. I faintly see that you have the red leather seats, kind of like what's on some 10A Rubicons, except I'm guessing that yours are higher quality and diamond quilted. Do you have a photo of the interior?

Also, I'm just curious, and guessing again that your Jeep is a Diesel. If so, do you find it noticeably louder while driving, compared to a gas/petrol powered Wrangler? Someday we'll probably get a Diesel JK here in the States, although it most likely won't be a 2.8. So, I've often wondered about the interior noise level, being that a JK is a much different animal, from say a larger truck.

Ha, I see that you right-handers also have backwards windshield wipers,....at least to us! ;)

They sure look red to me, or maybe I didn't get enough sleep last night! Besides, it's kind of a Kahn trademark, they're normally very decked out. He has red brake calipers too, doesn't he?!

I see tinted windows. It might be me I don't know

JKUTBFE13 06-19-2013 07:02 AM

The red that can be seen on the tinted windows is from a reflection of the red brick of the house it is parked in front of.

ltsrapcon 06-19-2013 04:39 PM

Welcome to the forum from PA USA.
I like your rack, but too much chrome for me.

I like that its a jeep. But I would have to with less rim, more tire, a lot more tread, lift, and no chrome. But that is just me. Its your jeep, I can respect another jeep. Ever take the top off???

There's obviously a red home reflection, but I'm 99.3% sure he has red seats too. I just hope the OP's not AWOL, otherwise we're SOL on the seat color thing.

donmeca2020 06-19-2013 11:02 PM

looks alright, abit to blingy bling for my taste.

Lowerumble 06-19-2013 11:33 PM

Actually the trim on the house looks more of a burgundy to me.

Did they pull and replace the head unit in that pic? Or where is the SatNav? Looks great! Although I would never remove my hardtop with that interior.

Nano 06-21-2013 08:43 AM

That is definitely a unique looking Jeep, though if it is a special model offered by a dealer, then you'll likely see others at some point. As someone else mentioned and the right side driver steering wheel, that appears to be a european Jeep? If so, then that would explain the uniqueness (to me), as I live in America.

I personally don't understand bling and flash on worktrucks. Worktrucks, to me, would seem like magnets for dirty, dents, dings, scratchs on the body, wheels and insides. I also picture worktrucks as having a higher probability of driving off of pavement, which, to me, screams a need for less rim and more tire. I see this in America with non-Jeep worktrucks, and I just don't understand the logic.

I hope any negative comments in this forum don't disuade you from posting here. The beauty of Jeeps is that they are the most customizable vehicle that I know of, so you can really make it your own. It is a nice looking Jeep!

Some businesses see the vehicles as a reflection of them and part of their identity. Sort of like the the gasjockys of the 40s and 50s wearing the white uniforms ties and caps. It is just a professional look that they are trying to portray, versus having a beat up grundgy truck showing up at a client site.

http://www.kahndesign.com/ Kahn is a customizer in Europe, like Unique Whips or West Coast Customs.

...wow, how much down force is created in them "side wing blade" thingy's? They're carbon fiber, so obviously the best available.

jonpriority 06-21-2013 11:48 AM

Their are no others in this color(was a one off colour), I live in UK near Manchester and I dont think I will ever see another!! I have just owned a Dodge Nitro for 6 years and only ever seen another 4 or 5!! Jeeps Wranglers over here are even rarer!
