2013 JKU friday, ordered Rock Krawler 2.5" Flex Today!

I guess this will be my introduction! I picked up my 2013 Oscar Mike True Blue JKU last friday. Before I even picked it up, I knew I would be getting a lift kit. I have been researching all week and finally narrowed it down today.

I just ordered the Rock Krawler 2.5" Flex System today Bilstein 5100 shocks, RK 2" bumpstops front and rear, and the Rugged Ridge Exhaust Spacer from 4ws.com.

Is there anything else you guys/gals can think of that I may need?

I am extremely excited about the reviews on this kit  and can't wait to install it. I already ordered some wheels spacers too!

Other stuff I ordered earlier this week was the Mopar door sill plates, grab handles (4), AntennaX 14" shorty antenna, and the rugged ridge window storage sport bar bag.

This Jeep is gonna cost me as much as my mustangs in modding....LOL

Later,
Derrick

Welcome to the family and the Jeep addiction!!

What size tires you plan on running? If you plan on 35's, you may want to look into a new rear bumper/tire carrier or the Teraflex hinged tire carrier. The additional weight of a 35" tire has been known to rip the welds out of the rear gate. But if you are planning on 33's, you shouldn't need to upgrade.

I have a modded Mustang also, a 96' GT that I ordered from the factory, its got 61k miles on.

A few cases have been with the 35s not working well with the stock rear gate but I do it and will until it rips off lol or when I throw down for a tire carrier/bumper combo.

Good thinking on the blinstein shocks, wish I would've done the same route instead of TF.

I also modded a mustang, this is my new addiction as well :) Welcome!

Probably 33's as I don't really want to spend the money on 35's plus loose a ton of mpg, plus the tailgate issue. I need to look at tons on pics online to make sure i'll be happy with 33's though.

I have a 2011 mustang slightly modded and a 670hp 1998 mustang that is heavily modded! I can't believe I bought another vehicle that is going to drive me to the poor house . I had an FJ cruiser with a 3" toytec lift and toyo A/T's that I loved, but I have wanted a jeep for about 20 years and said...."it's time!" The FJ was great, had 156,000 absolutley trouble free miles and was great offroad....just couldn't take the top off.
