Quadratech Coverking backorder: how long?

I got the fronts + free rear covers deal on these seat covers, but they were immediately backordered. Just wondering if anyone went through the same thing in the past and if it was a long wait.

I'm getting them either way, just curious if it was like weeks or months.

My Coverkings took about a month IIRC...they gave me a # to plug in so I could check on the progress, if I wanted to. If you ordered through the Q you might not get that. Nevertheless, it takes some time...

Thanks buddy... I'm getting concerned about the sun beating down on my seats and thinking about getting a set of cheapies for the fronts until those arrive. I just leave the back folded when not in use.

The Coverkings are OK...after a year and a half, starting to fray a bit from sliding in and out. But no fading, so far, despite top off all summer.

However, I'd have bought the Trek Armor if they were available when I bought my Wrangler, and were compatible with side airbags.

Just a thought.

I'll take a look at those, thanks!

Put some thought into materials. I've got the breathable CKs...you'll be tempted by the neoprene, waterproof versions, but they can give you swamp ass in hot climates. And brands like the Trek Armor can be a pain to install...

Yeah, life is hard...

Seat Cover Options - What are you running?
Wet Okole or Trek Armor

Mine have been on back order about a month. Still waiting...

krazied219 06-26-2013 10:12 PM

They said another month wait, cancelled my order and ordered trek armors!

I ordered mine May 1st and I'm still waiting.... The free back seat is tempting but I'm getting sick of waiting.

Yea, thats the deal that got me (and probably everyone else) too. Having second thoughts on the wait and the material. I ordered the neoprene and have read other comments like kbwwolf's about them being hot.

Took my CK set over two months because they kept sending the wrong sets. In fact, I ended up with an extra set because I refused to send the fourth wrong shipment back.

As for the material of the neoprene, it's ok. Definitely not as breathable as factory. My buddy got some leather seating surface/pleather sides seat covers for his F150 that are sweet and only cost around $300. I'll try to find the brand, but they're breathable and easy to keep clean.

Are the "breathables" the BALLISTIC NYLON seat covers by Coverking? Do you have any pictures? Thanks in advance.

I ordered a grill guard from them and after 2 weeks I called and was told it was on back order. They didn't have the courtesy to call or email me saying so. At the time of the call they said one week. 10 days later I call back and was told another week. Again I wait and after the third call, they said it would be another 2 weeks. I don't remember, but I think I blacked out from yelling at the service department clerk over the phone. I cancelled the order and haven't ordered from them since.

TOK 12-06-2013 11:06 AM

I ended up cancelling as well. Took way too long and the shipping was expensive. I later learned about the forum discount, but other places don't play games like that, offering free shipping on almost any order over $100.

They have also made the bottom of my go-to list.

CrispyB 12-06-2013 12:15 PM

Yep, cancelled my CK order after two months of waiting and excuses.

If you know you can't supply something, why keep it up on your site and in your catalogue?

rgnbull1227 12-06-2013 01:37 PM

I forgot I even ordered them back in July and they just showed up last week.
