Picked Up the New Wrangler Today.

Got back from KOONS Chrysler Jeep in Vienna, Va. a little bit ago. Picked up my son's new 2013 Rugged Brown Sport JKU. The team at Koons is Exceptional !!!
Thomas Higgins (Sales Manager) treated us Great, Jimmy in Finance Dept. Very Good and Friendly. Jodie was our Sales Rep, treated us very well. We are very Pleased with our experience with this dealership. The Only Fault that we found was the inhouse Enterprise Rental Car Dealer personel. Those boys Leave alot to be DESIRED. (Enterprise Boys) Thats another whole story !!! We will be traveling to Koons for our next vehicle. They are Only a short 252 miles from my home and less than 4 hours if the traffic on the I-495 beltway is light. They are only about 1/2 mile off of I-495. :punk: Thanks again KOONS JEEP Sales Team !!!!
This makes the 3rd Wrangler in the family. 2 JKU's and a JK.

I don't know , but I think the deal and the people here were doing a good job, and I buy or lease new vehicles every 2-3 years. It seemed to me today that they are 1 of the Best . I'm 56 years old and have dealt with alot of dealerships.
:nonono: AND AGAIN EXCEPT for the Enterprise Rental Car Office and Employees there. :nonono: :banghead::banghead::banghead:

I just opened this thread to say congratulations on the new Wrangler!!

Truthfully, I really don't care about who or how the dealership treated you because I will never be in your neck of the woods. lol But I suppose anyone in your area may find your review either useful or full of troll. lol

Have you tried sending your comments directly to the GM of the dealership? I'm sure he'll be happy to gain customer feedback as it sounds like his dealership is doing 95% of things right.

Happy trails, congrats on number three and hope you'll hang out here more often! :)

There is no such thing as light traffic on the beltway, it's always awful.

Thanks guys. The I-495 North at 13:45 pm was pretty clear. I'm not overly familiar with the traffic patterns there but we were probably running 65-75 on it with no stopped traffic. :thumb:

I also bought my '13 JKU Sahara from Koons, but I only had to drive 80 miles each way from Southern Maryland. I echo all the good comments about the people there. I got a very good price and they were super friendly.

I did all my negotiating via phone and email, and when I was happy with the final numbers, I told them I'd be there in two days to finalize the deal and pick it up. That would be a Friday and my day off. They called me back and said if I came on Thursday instead (the last day of the month) they'd take off an additional $500. That made it a win-win-win situation for me: got my Jeep a day earlier, for less money, and had a great buying experience. They got a very good rating from me on their website.
