Currie 4" lift with all arms ? Or RockKrawler 3.5 max travel kit ?
 
New to jeeps I just picked up a 2010 JKU and i am starting to build it up ,,, going to be running 37's , setting it up correct for the 37's The only thing I'm having a hard time on is deciding to get the Currie 4" lift with all flex arms ? Or the RockKrawler max travel 3.5 lift ? Or should I peice a kit together ? I hear both are great kits but currie is way closer to me !

Both are great kits. Currie is well known for their JJ's but RK has just rolled out a new joint as well.
Are you asking if you need all 8 arms ?
@ 4" I would say yes. At that height you would want the pinion/caster angles to be good and wheelbase stock or better.
Does the RK Lift you're looking at have highsteer?
Flipping the drag link is recommended over dropping the pitman arm like Currie does. Not saying it can't be done if you go the Currie route.

Honestly.... Either will be a good choice.

No I want all the arms , I was just stating the kit I was looking at !
RK kit comes with everything that currie has excepts no bump stops , but comes with added high steer flip kit and front and rear track bars ,,, so if I went currie I would have to buy flip kit plus track bars ,,, but the currie track bars use Johnny joints and RK uses hein joints , I no how fast heim joints go out ! Not good

You don't "need" the flip kit. Nice to have depending on how she drives. RK doesn't include bumpstops to allow you to choose the size and tailor to your lift/tire size.
Track bars are important. I agree The RK heim joints need work. You could always run different joints if you choose ?

Going with the Currie Kit ,,,for starters with their front and rear track bars , then upgrading steering to their beefed up currectlink setup or a flip ,, not sure !!!!!

I'd do some beefing up to the front end for 37s. I'm going to 37's around the end of the year and right now I've just got c gussets but I've ordered a artec truss and 4.88 gears + chromoly shafts and just running it open until it breaks if it does.

Drag link flip made a drastic difference in my handling at 3.5" also.

I have the 3.5 max travel with 37s and the flex is great. I paired it with the fox 2.0 resi shocks for 4"-6" and I'm happy with it. Can't speak for the Currie setup but I'm sure the quality is great. I run their antirock and it's good stuff. The max travel does come with high steer. It's a very complete kit for the money

I it's tough , but I see Currie and tech at re races for work at least once a month , so I figure I'd go with them !!!

Ill see if I can find it but people are having issues with Currie's correct link. Poor CS as well.

Eric, you're correct that the JJs on the trackbars are a bit of an improvement over standard heim joints, but Rock Krawler has made some great improvements in their heims, plus the frame ends are rubber bushings, which absorbs the majority of the vibrations from the trackbar.

Both kits are great quality and we were ultimately torn between the two, as well. We went with the Rock Krawler 3.5" Flex, just to be able to see how well it actually performs with only new lowers, and even with the stock uppers the axle brackets themselves are the limiting factor on the Forged JKU.

Currie makes some incredible products as well, as has been stated. You'll be satisfied either way. If there's anything we can do for you on either, please don't hesitate to PM us.

I am running the Currie and highly recommend it. I would recommend that you also splurge to get the Johnny Joint front end housing. This way you have JJs all the way around. It removes the last of the Mopar bushings.

I ended up getting the big Currie kit with everything front and rear anti rocks and front and rear track bars ,,, very happy with their customer service and support

Will do !!! I'm taking my time beefing everything up while its all apart /// axle / pivot point chromoly weld washers and gussets ,, but I will take lots of pics and post when done !!!!
