How old are you??

I searched and I couldn't find a thread on this. I'm curious how old everyone is? I'm 35 with two kids (4 and 1) and have had my Jeep for a month. At first I thought it may look a little rediculious for a 30 something mom driving around in a lifted Jeep, but I just don't care what people think. Getting my Jeep made me realize you can never be too old to have fun. :)

40 here. Last month. Nothing wrong with a 30 something mom driving a Jeep. Fact that its lifted just makes it cooler.

59.

Do what you want. Drive what you enjoy. Ignore the opinions of others.

38, first jeep since last summer... Would of gotten one in my 20's but insurance rates were crazy at that time but they dropped dramatically in the last 5 years so...

Yeah quite a few of my friends asked me if I was hitting my mid life crisis early. Then they drive in it- and realized why I bought it. My mom even likes it- but she can't get in it without a boost. She said "maybe I should get a Jeep" and she's 65.

38....absolutely love it. Especially taking it off road and driving spotless/topless.

scipio337 07-01-2013 09:04 AM

Old enough to know what's right, and still young enough not to choose it. :D

You're a regular 'New World Man', aren't you ;)

To answer the OP, I'm 41. My JKU has enough space to haul the whole family while still being one of the most 'fun' vehicles I've ever owned.

I was in a rush, but I see what you did there.:punk:

34 here... and no reason there's an age limit on a bad ass jeep!

Holton345 07-01-2013 11:02 AM

49, gray, fat, outdoorsy classical musician. Army vet. Texan by birth, Mississippian by job locale. Lifted jeep. Wife is 45, also in the orchestra with me. Mississippian by birth. Unlifted jeep. We just don't care if others think we look odd in our jeeps. We think people are weird for not having at least one per family! HA!

barrydd 07-01-2013 11:24 AM

I am 45. My mother is 66 and bought her 3rd jeep last summer.

2013JKBulldog 07-01-2013 11:29 AM

46 with a child seat in the back, makes me feel young

it_felt_so_good 07-01-2013 11:46 AM

22 with a 3 year old & 1 year old. Haven't gotten a chance to drive around with the top down & doors off yet with them but it's on the to-do list.

Meanwhile I've been eyeing those mini Jeeps they sell at Toys R Us. So tempting to get one for the kids so they could follow me while I'm biking versus being in a bike carriage, :).

And there isn't anything wrong with a 30 something Mom driving a lifted Jeep! I'm sure most would prefer it!

22, no kids and I'm currently on my third jeep.

Los57 07-01-2013 01:51 PM

34, two kids (16 & 10), this is my first Jeep and I wish I'd done it sooner. Moms in Jeeps are awesome. :)

My son thinks the Jeep is the coolest thing ever. He keeps telling his friends to get a Jeep- he clearly has the bug already. Although I asked him if he wanted a Jeep when he was 16 and he said "no- I want a batmobile".

Senior Chief 07-01-2013 05:41 PM

Old enough to know better, apparantly ...

Beachtime 07-01-2013 05:58 PM

37 divorced 2 kids 9 and 19. Drove mini van for 9 years and been thinking about what to replace it with for a while. Randomly went to a few Jeep dealers on the last sunday in January and drove out in my gorgeous Sahara. I am in love with my Jeep! My best friend asked me if I was a 20 year old male haha!

2013JKBulldog 07-01-2013 06:02 PM

I dumped a mini van also, so happy to have the Sahara now

My daughter (16) & her friends love the Jeep but she wants a truck. I'm still working on her.
My son (10) is in love with the Jeep because the top goes down and he can climb on the tire to get in. LOL When he's old enough to drive he'll most likely inherit the '04 and I'll buy myself another. :)

Steeljag 07-01-2013 06:13 PM

Upper 40's and went from Harley's to Jeeps. Healthy life style with being a regular at the gym, cycling, and camping.

Jeep fits this life style perfectly.

Owen_TJ 07-01-2013 06:19 PM

27 next month (4th)...no kids, never married, 22 year old girlfriend (in october)...had the jeep since october of 2010

Just like steel...my wrangler fit me perfect and i had wanted one a while...
