Need some major help
2002 jeep wrangler 6cyl check engine light came on the other day. Error 204,300,301,302, I have replaced plugs, coil pack, throttle position sensor, and one of the o2 sensors bank1 sensor 2. Jeep runs ok at ideal, give it gas and i get ton of smoke and the smell of gas? Any idea what to try next? Thanks Stephen

Smoke coming from the engine area? tail pipe?

Smoke combined with the smell of gas probably means it's running rich. In conjunction with those codes (#4 injector error and multiple misfires cyl 1 and 2), you're probably having injector issues, either leaky, incorrect spray pattern/amount, or stuck open. Have you tried running a fuel injector/fuel system cleaner through?

Smoke from tail pipe, and yes I just threw I'm some injector cleaner on Tuesday, I thought I had some bad gas from Cumberland farm.. Was hoping it was just that... Like I said not sure what else to try. Thanks for replays Stephen

I never will put any type of injector cleaner or additives to my fuel/oil. I just don't feel it's needed. If I were you, I'd pull the injectors. It sounds like you have one stuck open if you have the smell of raw fuel.

Sea foam is the best cleaner in my opinion, it may help

That would help his stuck open injectors how?

I'm just saying he could try, it could be a gummed up injector

I started it up this morning running better than ever! So not sure what fixes it! But thanks for all the input! Stepehn
