Why not 31'' tires>?
 
Don't laugh but, I was happy with them with my 89 toy truck. Why not on the jeep. I not doing will rock crawling and if the Lord blesses me, I can up grade after I pay it off? I just have the 29 stock on it now and have the 321 gears. I see that the better tires are harder to find for the 31. I would think that the extra weight of the 32 could pose problems with the tire carrier years later?:popcorn:

The stock rubicon tire is a 32" and i hope theyd warranty the tire carrier if it broke on a rubi lol. I have 32's on a stock jk 3:21 and its perfect for now

Get the tires you want for your Jeep. Any tire bigger than the stock 29s are an upgrade.

You'll probably want to consider getting your speedometer reprogrammed if you change tire size regardless of what size you go to.

Would u think that there would be much difference in performance from the 31 to the 32. What i mean is, from start stop operations, would it make it that much difference from either or. Im just thinking of the weight of the tires. I dont want to go wider that if for sure. thin tires are better for snow, not that i get much here lol. just more wt per sq inch. I do like the way the 32 look though

It's truly whatever you like. I used to like how the 29's looked. Then I saw the 32's and thought they looked the best. Then I saw the 32s on the Rubicon with Mud Terrains. Then I saw someones 33" duratracs and thought they looked the best. Then I saw a JKUR with 35s and thought anything smaller would be foolish. Then I saw someone rolling down the road with 37s......

I put 32s from a 'JKUR on my 13 JK Sport and I love it. Replaced my stock 29s. My only complaint is that the speedo is off 5 mph when it shows 60 and dealer can't reprogram the 2013s yet.

I have a 2013 JKU that came with the stock steelies and 29" tires I have 3.21 gears and I have run the last 10,000 miles with 33" and no issues at all. I did numerous moderate rated runs at Moab and never had an issue. On Friday I did some harder off roading with 2 rubicons, 1 stock and 1 heavily modified. I had no issues at all. I did get a teraflex spare tire hinge tho. My set up weighs 82lbs measured on a postal scale. I have no trouble accelerating and my only disadvantage I had going with the rubicons was they could crawl slower.

Get a procal for the speedo. Recalibrated my 13 to my 35's.
