KY get together

The KY jeepers need to get together! We have so many trails and places to ride we must have enough of us to do a get together. Everyone give some input as to where and lets put something together.

HillbillyJeeper 07-06-2013 12:16 AM

Bump! I know every jeep I see around here isn't from and on its way from somewhere else! C'mon people.... Pay attention. I bet if I start another thread talkin bout how the only thing more inbred than a UK fan is one who drives a jeep i'll get your attention. Don't make me go negative cuz, I wil, it aint beneath me... very little is. LOL

BAP 07-06-2013 08:17 AM

lol,, i have tried for a year or so on here to get a few together,,,

im in so would unclejessie in his j/truck,,--at least that would be a start and once everyone sees the fun were haveing they may join in,,

like i said i have a couple hundred acres and rush is,nt far away,--besides this is kentucky we have great rideing here...

i just wonder if alot of the jeeps we see on the road even know of wf.
like unclejessie said even when ya wave at them they just give ya a weird look, like they have no clue...what a true jeeper is,,,

barrydd 07-06-2013 08:41 AM

I would be interested in getting together. Lots of Jeeps around here but they seem to be headed to the mall or a soccer game.

FutureRN 07-06-2013 09:58 AM

If I can catch some free time from school, I'd love to. I've have very similar result when waving at other jeeps haha. The only person to wave back has been a middle aged woman haha

HillbillyJeeper 07-06-2013 01:05 PM

OK! How about the 20th somewhere near BAP everyone?

BAP 07-06-2013 09:33 PM

sounds awsome to me,,, plenty of camping on my property, the only thing i would be against is drinking while wheeling,,,,---give me a heads up because i have ALOT of trails that i can reopen , we had a huge ice storm a couple years ago and i lost alot of timber on my trails but would be more than happy to open them back up.. been wanting too anyway,, they range from mild to wild..--very wild on some--

lets get this going.!!!!!

i think that alot of jeep owners these days buy jeeps because it,s become a fad like when everyone started buying trucks that never used a truck for what they were built for, like working them..,,,,so they just own a jeep to say they have one and have zero info on the jeep life style..

HillbillyJeeper 07-07-2013 12:52 AM

Definitely no drinking while wheelin, I usually have my kids so I avoid that sort of thing. Now after... I have been known to pull a cork.

jordorunway 07-07-2013 03:54 AM

To bad I'm so far south, I've kept up with the threads here in ky but everything is for stuff that's a good 3 hours or more from me lol. I haven't really found any wranglers here in Somerset that do any wheeling, the ones that do they turned their wranglers into buggies.... I always keep a watch on here for anything local though.

GEARBOX 07-07-2013 09:58 AM

Where are you at in Northern Kentucky, I'm just across the bridge in Evansville from Henderson KY. like to hit the trails; like jordorunway 3 hours away is rough on the wallet. Turkeybay is away off, so I hit Innerlake up in IN.

HillbillyJeeper 07-07-2013 12:24 PM

Maysville. We have Big rock here and Rush over close to Ashland. There are trails everywhere though. I know where a bunch of them are but am always looking for something new though. I'm not big on mud, I don't avoid it, I just don't seek it out. I'm simply too lazy to do proper cleanup.

unclejessie81 07-07-2013 08:48 PM

Yep ya know I am in , just hot back from South east Georgia in my 81 j10 , she might not be the fastest thing but got me there and back saftley , lets get this get to tether started I am so ready, Bap we even have the trails at smith Branch we sad we were welcome on at anytime just have t give them a heads up!!!

BAP 07-08-2013 08:02 AM

true, ---if ya dont like mud avoid the first 2 puddles---lol just ask unclejessie--lol

HillbillyJeeper 07-08-2013 07:21 PM

So 20th good? I'll likely be staying at the KOA, we can start from there if its fairly close or you guys name the spot.

unclejessie81 07-08-2013 09:18 PM

BAP 07-09-2013 07:43 AM

Scout1996 07-09-2013 10:14 PM

C00l,
I have a house out by Rumpke.

Derrick B 07-11-2013 10:57 AM

I am a new Jeep owner and live in Bullitt county. I am ignorant to the lifestyle but am learning as much as I can as quick as I can. I am itching like crazy to hit the trails but haven't found them yet. Of course I have had my wrangler for a week.
