2013 Jeep wrangler unlimited front license plate
I'm trying to place a license plate in the front and it looks like there are small wholes that could place screws but not sure I don't want to ruin the bumper. Help!

If they're dead center of the bumper those are probably the plate holes! There's no bracket or anything other than two screws that hold the plate on and on mine it was obvious the dealer simply drilled the holes. If you're in doubt look at any picture on this forum as a guide.

Thank you I'll take a look at your pics. Still trying to learn how to navigate this site.

I seem to recall there being 2 small nipples on the lower area of the front bumper that I was able to line up with the lower holes in my license plate. That gave me the locations to but the upper screws in.

Exactly. So I just place the screws there? I don't need to install anything right?

Here is a picture of the bumpers. Where do I place screws and is it the regular size for the license plate screws?

Look in your console. There was a baggy with the screws when I bought mine.

^^^ there should be a bag of screws in the console if not just ask for a few at the dealer OR any screw with an aggressive thread will work... A small pilot hole will make them bite through the plastic a little easier but it`s not neccesary

Next time you're at the dealer, ask them to put them on for ya'. If they won't, find another dealer!

christley 07-07-2013 08:58 PM

I'll definitely do that : ) thanks

The salesman should have put the plates on before you drove it home, or at least the one has their dealership name all over it.
