:nonono:Hi everybody, im sure there was a tread about this but I cant find it. I went to start my jeep this morning and it wouldn't start I can smell gas but I am getting fuel. took the air cleaner off so I have air. the plugs, wires, cap. rotor and coil. previously when I did get it to run it would stall and I would have to wait 5 or 10 minutes and try again it was stalling because it was loosing spark. this is off topic but I just recently changed my oil 200 miles or so ago and now it has turned completely black and tar. it seems like the more I drive this truck the more goes wrong, it is completely unreliable. it has left me stranded many of times and im sick of it.:banghead: any help is good

I assume you changed the oil filter when you changed the oil? And the electrical as all has been replaced as well?

Yes, I did. I recently replaced the ignition control module but that didn't do any thing. Then I replaced the pick up coil, it started on the first turn. let my battery recharge and then shut it off. this morning I went to start it and it had no spark. but I just keep cranking out of frustration. I finally got it to run but the idle was rough and kept loosing spark. My jeep only has 50,000 miles and this has me stumped

If your distributor and cap have been replaced already as well, then I would look into the compression and/or valve adjustment.
