replacing fuel pump tomorrow, have a few last minute questions,,, help!!

i am finally replacing my fuel pump tomorrow... it is about 3/4 full of fuel i dont really want to siphon ... is this a major issue? any problems to expect? thanks!!! how difficult is it to maneuver the tank to get it out? i understand you have to shift it around the tailpipe? thanks for any tips!!!

That 10 gallons of fuel at 6+ pounds per gallon will sure add to difficulty of trying to remove and re-install. Personally, I wouldn't consider it unless I emptied the tank first.

I haven't done a YJ, just a TJ and I've slept a lot since then, but as I recall it's really pretty easy. I used some wood blocking on a floor jack to raise and lower the tank. Not sure on a YJ if you need to loosen the fuel fill or not but I expect you will need to.

Empty that tank before you re instal bro, oh and also on the drivers side of the tank, make sure you disconnect the power wires.
