Looking for running boards

I have been looking for running boards. I just got another new Jeep. I have a 2 door sport. What's a reliable brand.

Its a step, find one that looks good and is priced well on Amazon and check the search narrower for free shipping. (saved me a fortune in Alaska) Maybe look for bolt on, no need to drill ones. If you are huge and that is why you are seeking reliability in a step or you like big girls look for weight ratings.

I have had Kentrol stainless steel ones for 10 years now. No rust, the plastic steps got some length wise cracks I filled with jb weld. They are 550 bucks now though, were under 400 10 years ago lol. They are in a great place to get rock chips so stainless is your best bet with those concerns. Heres mine. Kentrol Stainless Steel 3" Side Bars Pair 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ # 30482 : Amazon.com : Automotive You could find cheaper stainless ones. Not sure if they would hold up to rust as well. 4WD.com and quadratech say kentrol is superior but they are trying to sell it so who knows. I am happy with mine and lived in the salt belt (St. Louis) and 6 years in Fairbanks AK.

I wouldn't say they are crap, but they will be a pile of rust in N.J. in 3 years. I had to throw mine out after 2 years and went to stock I bought off this FORUM for $65.00. Stainless is the only way to go if you don't want stock.

I have a set of Westin Signature Series Nerf bars I would be happy to sell. They're black steel with black plastic step in the middle. PM me if you're interested!
