What is your baby's name?

I've had my baby for a few weeks now, and I love her. 2007 2dr Sahara, bright silver.

I've been trying to name her, but have yet to come up with something that fits just right. As far as I'm concerned any vehicle that you care about needs to have a fitting title.

I'm in no particular hurry, I'm sure the perfect name will come to me (although I'd love to hear some suggestions). In the meantime I'd love to hear some of the names that you guys have given your rides and why you picked that name. Stories and pictures are encouraged!

I call mine ERMAHGERD! After lifting it and getting the new tire someone came up and said "Oh my God, what a nice Jeep"! So I went with ERMAHGERD!

JRBennett 07-15-2013 07:52 PM

I have two jeeps. One is my daughter's (2 door) and the other (4 door) I drive. My daughter named the jeeps Minnie for hers the 2 door and Max for mine the 4 door. So we have Minnie and Maxie.
But I do like Ermagerd

My baby is named Jessie, I've had her for 3 months and she's a 2013 Unlimited Moab edition, it's my first Jeep and I love it

After getting some suggestions from some friends, I have settled on "Lucille" for 2 reasons.

1 - she's a red head, so in honor of Lucille Ball

2 - since I've been thinking about doing a zombie response theme, Lucille is the name of Negan's barbed wire wrapped baseball bat in The Walking Dead comics.

Jameson the jeep named after the Irish whiskey :)

Mine is Jenny after the first car that I owned a 1993 Jeep Cherokee Country.

Because Jethro Tull's song "Teacher", and I'm a history teacher.

The pic says it all. Wife named her. Originated from Rosie the Riveter in WWII, when the Jeep was first introduced.

I went with "Black Pearl". Want to find a small pirate flag to attach.

I call mine "Jeep Vader" or sometimes refereed to as "Darth Jeep". Just waiting on the Wheels and tires to beef her up...yes I know Darth Vader is a man, but it seems weird not say "She/her" when talking about a vehicle. :)

This is also my first post here! whoot!

.....'Nellybelle' for nostalgia of my first exposure to travels in the fantasy realms.....although they don't look much alike, she brings the same smile and goes places I never thought I'd go....

After a couple of weeks thinking about it, came up with "Reb". Not sure it will stick, but the boss likes it!

Well seeing you're a state fan (I grew up in east lansing and just moved to boulder a year ago) maybe something like sparty or izzy. Or if maybe a little older name like Jud (heathcote)? A couple years ago the student shirts read "sParty On" as in 'party', yes! How about Big Ten?

Or giving our teams reputation after big games...maybe 'Riot'
