Olympic bumper install help

Thanks for looking. I just received my new Olympic front and rear tubular type bumpers (and hitch) that I want to install on my 2011 Sahara JKU. I am not very mechanically inclined and the installation directions were very vauge. I tried, without success, to find some better directions or maybe a video. Can someone help me get on the right track? For example, I'm not sure if the plastic parts above and below the front bumper need to come off (temporarily or permently), how the fog lights attach, or if there is a air bag sensor that I need to be aware of.

Thanks for any tips/help!!

Can someone tell me if I will be interferring with my air bag sensors, etc if I remove my factory bumpers? I guess I will fumble through removing the bumpers...probably not that big of a deal just didn't want to screw anything up...Olympic was not much help regarding directions.

Thanks!

There is no air bag sensor out on the bumper. But, installing an aftermarket bumper that does not reuse your factory "crush cans" (currently mounted on your stock bumper) means a higher likelihood of airbag deployment at a minor rear-ender collision. The crush cans are designed to absorb deceleration energy that might otherwise translate into airbag deployment, which you do not want at 5 or 10 mph! AEV and some ARB bumpers reuse the crush cans. Since these low-speed accidents are so common, I plan to stick with one of these when I choose a new bumper.

It should only be 8 bolts you undo to take off the front bumper. The plastic piece under the bumper is prob your air damn and you can take that off and forget about it.
The olympic bumper i had came with 8 bolts for the fog lights that you attach to their bumper and can use them to adjust the angle your light will sit.

Maybe you should increase your following distance and you could choose any bumper you like.
