JW Speaker 8700s

4 Attachment(s)
I am selling a used pair of JW Speaker 8700 headlights. These are early 2012 models so they are thicker than the evolutions. They have glass lenses instead of polycarbonate lenses. I shaved off 4 of the cooling fins so they would fit in my 2013 JK without having to relocate the airbag sensor. You will still need to trim your existing plastic headlight socket that your OEM lights are mounted to. This took me all of about 20 minutes to mount these lights so while not plug and play, it was pretty easy to do. The glass lenses are flawless and have no chips are scratches on them.

I am selling these as I am going with a custom said of HIDs with programmable angel eyes. The light out put of the JW Speakers is incredible and you will not be disappointed. These are top quality headlights and they look incredibly cool.

I will include the H4 - H13 adaptors too.

$500.00 for the pair. Considerably cheaper than buying new with much better light output than the Truck Light Phase 7s. I will ship anywhere in the lower 48 states for free.

Let me know if you have any questions about them.

Did they fit without any modifications or did you have to do something to the Jeep to make them fit???

You have to trim the plastic ring that your stock lights go into...basically making the hole larger is all you do. I trimmed the heat sinks on the lights so they would not touch the airbag sensors.

Thanks.

I don't know...should be able to make them fit.

pepatrick 07-29-2013 10:07 PM

Tried to do a little research on if these would fit a TJ or not. I could not find anything that says they will fit, but looking at the light sockets...they should fit, but I think it would take more modifications than for a JK. Looks like you might have to cut out some steel on a TJ, where as the JK just needs to trim the light socket that the light screws into.

Do these have the anti flicker harness?

No...just the regular h4 to h13 harness.

RubiChick 07-30-2013 05:18 AM

These will work on a TJ no harness required or modifications.

pepatrick 07-30-2013 09:48 AM

Gotcha...I replied to your PM, but just realized you were talking about a TJ. Very cool..thanks for posting.

Very good deal and I am very tempted, but when I hear "airbag sensors", I freak out. Let me think about it and will let you know.

pepatrick 07-30-2013 02:45 PM

Exactly why trimmed them...I would rather not move the airbag sensors (so I didnt)...the lights do not touch them and apparently this is not an issue on 2011 and earlier JKs.

whiteyjfm 07-30-2013 04:20 PM

Thanks. Ours is a 2012.

pepatrick 07-30-2013 08:56 PM

Sold!!!

vacca foeda 07-30-2013 09:26 PM

Good! One more temptation removed.

Congrats
