So my girlfriend has a 2013 Sahara edition. Right now it's on the stock Bridgestone dueler A/T's. well I hate it! And frankly so does she. And honestly although I hate to admit this. Her jeep is a road queen. So does anyone have any input on a good 33" or in that range with little or none highway noise and that lasts long while still looking good??

Just kidding. For an AT tire, I like the Falken Rocky Mountain sold by Discount Tire.
Pretty deep and aggressive tread for an AT tire. I have them on my F250 4x4. They work well and are wearing great after 3 years. I've had BFG ATs on my jeep before and was not impressed.

Don't have them on yet, but I will be ordering the Nitto Terra Grapplers in the next couple weeks.

There are a lot of very good tires.

1. The Falken also comes with a 50K warrenty.
2. I have had BFG A/T's They are very good on the road, little or no road noise. I have 28K on them and half the tread left. very good in the rocks, but not good at all in the loose stuff.
3. BFG KM2....this is what I will be getting next. I have many wheeling buddies that have gotten 60K on them. Little or no road noise, very good in the rocks and very good in the loose stuff.

Nitto Terra's r notoriously loud (my friend has em), falkens have a slight sound to them (neighbor has em), coopers at3 are great (reviews), and toyo at2 are the most silent in ALL sizes even when flat!! (From all users)

I wouldn't recommend the BFG at's. I've had 3 sets and the last set I had was horrible in wet weather. I'm not sure if they changed the compound but I'll never buy them again. They did wear like iron tho

If I was getting AT tires I'd prob go with falken or duratracs.

You're on my grabber thread too. But I'm leaning towards the grabbers. My dad gets an amazing deal as he has a shop and gets them at cost. I think we payed $860 for 5 35X12.50 grabbers for our yj.
So grabbers bad idea because of weight? Being that it's a DD?

The weight wouldnt bother me. The harsher ride of a E rated tire tho might not be for everyone. I don't notice it much but some people do. I'd let her drive yours and ask her if she likes them.

One thing about them is keep them rotated. I do mine about every 3-4k

Edit: the size she wants might not be E rated. I was just going from my set of 35 x12.50 17s that are E rated.

Haha I would let her drive it but the yj is a little different. I think that she should be fine. We will save up a little and I think the grabbers will be what we choose just for price wise.

It doesn't look all that far forward...but it does look like a revolver shackle.

i would personally suggest the BFG a/t tire. Its going to ride great on the road and still have a nice sidewall look to it. I would prefer m/t even for street use as they wear extremely well if you rotate and balance regularly

Well. If I must be honest. The jeep had taken so long to build we haven't run it this year yet. Still need custom drive shafts t case swap and some other things.
