Removing suntan lotion from leather seats

A few weekends ago, me, the wife and kid headed to the local pool for the day. We each lathered on the suntan lotion before we left. When we got back in the Jeep at the end of the day, there were several spots of white staining on the seat and door, where her legs were and where she propped her arm. Same for the back door where probably she or I held it open to pull our son out of his car seat.

She wore SPF 50 and I wore 30. The 50 is thick stuff, and probably explains why I see it on her seat more than on mine (I don't see any).

So, how do you get suntan lotion off of black leather seats, and the door (inside)?

Never had the issue, but I swear by Lexol Leather cleaner. Best stuff I have ever used. Just get a microfiber rag slightly wet/damp, spray cleaner on rag and work in to leather till it foams up a bit. Should be good to go after. Just wipe clean with another slightly damp rag. I follow up with their conditioner.

 found this though...
How to Remove Suntan Lotion Stains From:

Leather, Suede
Mix a solution of mild soap in lukewarm water. Swish to create a great volume of suds. Apply only the foam with a sponge. Wipe dry with a clean cloth. On leather only, follow with Tannery Vintage Leather Cleaner & Conditioner or Fiebing's Saddle Soap to condition the leather.

My wife always has on body or hand lotion and stains the crap out of the interior of the Infiniti and Jeep.

I use this stuff from Griot's Garage.

A lot of their stuff is on the more expensive side but the quality is good. Never been disappointed in anything I have bought from them.

They feel so much better than cloth when you're driving around without pants. :whistling:

+1. The Interior Cleaner is also available in a spray bottle--it is my favorite Griot's product. I use a lot of sunscreen, and it really easily transfers to armrests, etc. This works great to remove it.
