2000 Wrangler wont start!

I have a 2000 jeep wrangler, 4.0 w/ automatic trans. I haven't had any issues previously until now. I tried to start my jeep and it began to turn over. I released the key and it didnt start. When I tried again my starter clicked and then nothing! I had someone turn the key for me and I can hear the fuse clicks to engage the starter. So next I moved to the starter, I jumped the starter and it engaged but motor didn't turn. Now it's dark outside and that's where I stopped at! I plan on replacing the starter in the morning just to start off. Figured I would get other suggestions! Thanks as always guys!

Weak battery or bad battery connections should be the first thing to check if it clicks.

Sorry did check! Battery is nearly brand new. Tested it and putting just what it should. Cleaned terminals and all.

I had a friend that a bought a brand new battery and it went bad in the first three months. It even tested good the first time he started having problems. Sometimes you just get a dud. Just in case you haven't tested it and are going off the fact that it is new!

Turn on you head lights and try starting it when they are on. If they dim just a little probibly somthing with the starter. If they go out or get very dim then its battery related.
