need so real world advice

I have been looking at lift kits for my 00 wrangler, and have concluded that i want to go up 4" but still can not decide what kit to run. all the kits seem to come with the same parts are are all within 2-300 dollars of each other is there really a kit out there that is better than the rest i have really been looking at the black diamond 3" kit. But also looking at the 4wd kit it would be nice to have some real advice insted of what you read.

welcome to the forum. i would recommend steering clear of the Rough Country b/c, like it's name implies, it rides rough.

You need 4" to clear 33" tires. Don't skimp on front-end relocation parts. The quick diconnects for the stabilizer are nice for a daily driver.

thanks for the link man what you running on your own jeep and how woudl you rate it. I still am really leaning towards the RE 3.5 lift. Seems like alot of bang for the buck. well again thanks for the link and info

Right i know that i need the 4 inches total and i see you got the same jeep as mine just a year older whats your set up granted i dont need to run 35 or atleast yet i am not ready to regear or atleast while being in europe maby when i make it back to the states. Anyway just trying to see what other people are running and what they would suggest to run. skimping on parts is not going to be an issue i mean really i will have a good chunk of change to spend but i am also looking to not blow all my money at one time

since you have the money, go with the RE 4.5" kit from 4x4groupbuy.com. it comes with RE monotube shocks and sye/cv. the 4.5" springs are taller and you can fit 35s, or you can swap in 3.5" springs for 33s.

I was chatting with Dave at Rokmen the other day, and I really think this is a guy who knows what he's talking about. If I was going to start over, i would go with this kit - level 2: Rokmen - Old Man Emu - OME - Jeep TJ Suspension

In fact, I haven't ruled out ditching my lift and doing this.
