Hey guys, when I drive my TJ I get a squeaking noise that comes from the front end starting at about 25-30 mph. And when I turn left it gets louder. I'm not really sure what it is. And I replaced my rear u joints a few months ago when they went bad and this squeaking is not the same as when my rear u joints went bad. It used to do it in winter time when it was cold, but now it just started again and its warm out. Anybody have any ideas what this could be? Thanks for any help!

Check the unit bearing hub assembly and the axle u-joint for play. Pull the wheel off and spin it by hand, it should feel completely smooth spinning

The noise getting louder when you turn one way, is a sign you have a wheel bearing/hub going south on you. The loaded bearing on a turn will increase the sound, so in your case where a left turn makes it worse, take a look at the right bearing/hub

Thanks guys. Ive had a feeling it's the bearing, which sucks but atleast I can replace the bearing and axle u joints all at once now and not have to worry about them for a while. Anybody know how much longer I can go on it or should I change everything ASAP?
