Sat 8/10 wheelin?

Anyone up for some wheelin on Saturday? Don't have any trail in mind really. Mottino? Marble? Or maybe something else I haven't done before. Any difficulty works for me :)

Looks like the weather will be cooperative on Sat, high of 89 in the desert and 73 in BB. So no real preference here.

How about Sunday?

Moabrubi 08-05-2013 09:16 PM

Throwin some more out there as I think about it. Haven't run Dishpan in over a year. Heard Pontiac Sluice is fun but no idea where it is or what its like.

Can't think of any others at the moment.

Dakota123 08-05-2013 09:33 PM

I hear ya, I've done Cleghorn a million times. Just did it 2 weeks ago.

Pretty much any trail is open right now besides Cleggy.

HyperBrad 08-06-2013 11:01 AM

Hi gang!! What about Gold Mtn, to John Bull? Sat

aw12345 08-06-2013 01:45 PM

Big bear would do me just fine on Sunday. Dishpan would be a nice lil diversion

WOKNROX 08-06-2013 02:03 PM

I wish it was fall...because running Arrester canyon on up to horse thief flats is a sweet run right there.

Moabrubi 08-06-2013 02:15 PM

Ahh so many choices. Im kinda thinking Dishpan and something else. Im leaning more towards Sat right now.

WOKNROX 08-06-2013 03:52 PM

When we ran Matino last time I was gonna take are group through a small portion of it but we ran out of time.
Where Rattlesnake canyon crosses old Women Springs hwy Arrester canyon splits off from Rattlesnake canyon and goes to the south east....fun canyon...lots of rock.

Do you have room for one more.

Still got room for one more? I was thinking of heading up and making some runs this Saturday as well. Alone or with a group, I'll be up there this weekend!

Cool I enjoy horsethief as well. It gets toasty in that cyn during the summer though! Another trail to add to the list.

WranglerAddict 08-07-2013 09:59 AM

How many of you going that have CB's? I'm looking at doing an install on Friday possibly.

I'm guessing about $150 for full set up on the CB and then just a quick tune? I'm not real familiar CBs figured that's what most are running on the trails for ease of communication. If that's the case, I want to do the install on friday

Will do bud...you'll like it...its a very challenging wash/canyon..all rock and sand with a super nasty climb out of the canyon up to Horsethief flats. Then there's the climb up to the staging area at 3N03....fun.

It'll have to be later in October though...I'm doin Ershim at the of the month and I'll be on mandatory OT the month of September at work.

That's about right, what CBG are you getting? If you need the SWRT let me know I have one for you to use.. We can meet up on the run Sat to tune your CB or if you live close I live in San Clemente I can come over Friday and we can tune then.

HyperBrad 08-07-2013 04:30 PM
