Removing LCA ?'s

I need to replace the bushings in my 97 TJ...the rear bolts on the LCA's come out toward the brake drum and don't have enough clearance to come all the way out. I looked at it for a few minutes and have done some searches but nothing turned up as to the trick here. Anything aside from just cutting them out and replacing the bolts, from the other side? Thanks

Lefty loosey and then remove. jack up the jeep, put frame stands let axle hang..they will clear. I just put Rokmans on mine 3 days ago...easy peasy.

Not unless you want to disassemble your brakes and pull the backing plates. Seems strange that they would have been installed that way. I'd just cut them.

They hit the back of the drum/axle itself when you try to pull the bolt. Letting the axle hang won't change the clearance. Guess I'll just cut.
