Hey guys just wanted to send a shout out to my fellow Colorado peeps. Hi......lol

I'm not new to wheeling although my Jeep is. So if your looking for a wheeling buddy hit me up. I will be keeping this jeep fairly stock for now so extreme trails are out...I just can't seem to stay home and work on it when the weekend rolls around so all my mods will have to wait till winter when I don't mind staying home :)

Happy trails!!!

Colo-TJ 08-13-2013 01:36 PM

Welcome.....we post runs about every weekend from hard to easy..... keep watch. looking forward to running a few here or there with ya.
My GF has just a small lift that we recently put on so when she is in with hers it will be more of the mild variety. :thumb:
Enjoy the build however slow it may be. it takes the 2 things we all have the least of.....Time and Money..:D

Maybe see you on the trails in time. Welcome to the insanity

BreckenridgeYJ 08-13-2013 04:57 PM

Welcome! What area of the state do you live in? Wheeling buddies are always great to have especially when they are close! Random week night trail rides are hard to beat! I'm almost always game to join but live in Breckenridge. I can't wait to see what you come up with over the winter! It sounds like quite a few of us have some big revisions coming before spring!

BV Jeep 08-13-2013 05:29 PM

We are not INSANE :whistling: Danny you should know better than to call us insane. We are all crazy. Now the stuff we try sometimes is insane. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=3&theater

P.S. Danny my buddies 4cyl Yota easily goes up the left side of the water fall

Oh and welcome to the Forum. So far everyone I have me has been great. You need to come to the Jeeptober event we are having on October 5th and 6th http://www.wranglerforum.com/f60/jee...ng-258857.html

dirtyjeepgirl 08-13-2013 06:24 PM

Thanks guys for the warm welcome.:thumb:

Breckenridge-TJ... I'm in the Denver area and your right random runs are a blast with buddies. My mods for this winter are going to be mild do to the fact it's my DD and I have a stock 97 TJ that I want to make my main rig.

Colo-TJ....Time and money what are those:) I will make sure to watch for post about runs and most likely we will meet at some point.:wavey:

BV Jeep.....I was just checking out that post, sounds like a blast! I think I am going to put it on my to do list.

carguyco 08-13-2013 06:28 PM

Leave the jk stock.... Build up the tj :). Considering the cost swings for jk vs tj upgrades, you could outfit the whole jeep for the price of bumpers ;). Buy a set of geared locked axles that are bolt ons and some 35's that someone is growing out of and you're set at a reasonable price :)

JeepandMud 08-14-2013 12:34 AM

Welcome :). I finally got another living in Denver. Now I don't feel so bad lol. Like Chad said, we cater to every type of Jeep. Some of us test the limits, ok almost everyone tests the limits, but we also watch out for each other :thumb:

4PlayHusker 08-14-2013 08:49 AM

Build the TJ. Keep the JK for DD.

This is a great group. Come join us on a few runs, come join us for a wrenching party. Sometimes we actually end up doing a little wrenching. We always have a good time.

Welcome!

CoreyZ 08-14-2013 02:49 PM

Welcome

dirtyjeepgirl 08-14-2013 03:40 PM

Thanks again all. The TJ will be my main trail rig, like you all said cheaper ..lol but the JK has to have a lift and at least 33 plus lockers..I mean I have to be able to get to work, right?

Why a lift for 33s? Daily drive on 40s works well..

Justin04Lj 08-15-2013 05:23 PM

What kind of mpgs you get dan?

Justin04Lj 08-15-2013 06:42 PM

That is pretty good. I need to regear to get mine that high.

Oberst Hajj 08-15-2013 08:34 PM

I would love to have a DD on 40's but.....I have a hard time spending a lot of money on tires/gas just to get to work, much rather save the $$$ to play. On a side note have you ever tried to get in and out of a lifted rig in heels and skirt...lol

BreckenridgeYJ 08-22-2013 01:38 PM

I know a couple people with tires for sale. 1 set of pro comp xtreme mud terrains and another that has the km2's. both 37's and both about 90% left that went to 40's. 800 and 1500 (both sets of 5. The procomp set is rubber only. Km2's come with wheels for a jk

BreckenridgeYJ 08-22-2013 01:39 PM

Ad I would stick to 37 for dd. price jump is considerable to 40. The tires I have went from 378 >606 per tire. Granted I don't dd it so went 40's.... Haha
