Does it really matter if you mount these lights upside down(pendant position) or upright? If it does than what are some of my other options for some driving lights that are comparable to the black magics or the rallye 4000s?
Lamps are made in one direction only, that is, the reflector only works in one way I believe. The housing of the lamp, if it does not have a way to attach a bolt to the top of it, you can't use them upside down. Why? because it would not illuminate the road, instead, it would light up the sky or have an extremely useless beam pattern.
The lamp needs to have attachment top and bottom of it or some sort of bracket that allows t hat if you want to mount them either upright or downright.
