Anyone in Lenexa area installed a leveling kit?

I picked up my 13 Sahara Unlimited about a month ago, and am considering purchasing the Teraflex Leveling Kit and installing it.
Are there any mechanically inclined members around the Lenexa/KC area that would be interested in helping me on the install? I'm not mechanically inclined, but would like to learn more and the best way is to just do it.
I could have the dealer or Chux do it, but would rather not..I can pay with beer and pizza, or cash...Also not real sure what I would need for tools, stands, etc...I have basic hand tools but that's about it.

I'm going to be installing new front springs on my '12 2-door soon and live in Lenexa. Realized this weekend that my jack/stands are too short for my Jeep. I'm probably not a great teacher, but I'd be happy to help out.

I'd join the KC facebook groups. I'm sure there would be a lot of people willing to give a hand. If it's on a weekend I might be able to give a hand as well.

You on FB? There are several jeep/4wd groups in the KC area. One is specific to the JKs. Couple clubs too.
I'm member of several on FB. There are meet and greets. Several members fab for others. Several wrenchathons from time to time. Several 4wd business have been established as well.
Have you looked into joining a Jeep club? KCJeepclub.org is an organized family oriented 4wd club.

Do you know about the closest legal area to wheel to KC? Kansas Rocks Recreation Park (ksrockspark.com), near Ft. Scott, KS and Tuttle Creek ORV near Randolph, KS. KanRocks is managed by volunteer group, daily and yearly costs, events, open weekends only, etc. Tuttle is managed by Army Corp of Engineers, open daylight/7 dawn to dusk, no cost, no events.
Then there is SMORR, Seymour, MO, and Disney, OK as other great wheeling areas.

I'm in FL right now and won't be back till early Oct. I'm in Lenexa. I can help you with this. But are you sure you want to do just a leveling and not a 'lift' for room for larger tires?

Jack stands are readily available at Harbor Freight off Shawnee Mission Pkwy. Also, Northern Tool, next to Sam's Club off 95th should have them as well. Same for Sam's Club and Costco.
Tools is another thing. I get Craftsman when in sale. I usually get 2-3 of things since many times, you'll have other hands for help. I've been collecting tools since I was 10yo.

I'll have to look into the FB groups for the area.

I found a gentleman to help me with the install a while ago, just forgot to post it up. Got the leveling kit put on, now hoping for 33-35" tires and new wheels...I probably will kick myself for not just going straight to a 2.5-3" lift...oh well..live and learn!!
