Feb 20-22; follow the Unimog & camping

Camping trip, sloppy forest service roads, bonfire, and chasing a Unimog; what could be better?

The wife, dog, & I will be heading up to Indian Boundary on Friday 2/20/09 to spend the weekend with Tennmogger and his daughter, playing in the mud.
If SE TN is drivable for you, think about coming along.

The campground is fairly rustic but is easy to get to. My wife picked it because it has potties and trash cans; both are very nice for winter camping. I believe that it has fresh water but I wouldn't count on that; so bring water. It is a fee area of $10/night. It's right by a lake and a variety of scenic fs roads that Bob will show to us; how often do you get to go sight-seeing with a Unimog to follow?

All brands welcome; family oriented...

If anybody wants to caravan up there on Friday morning, let me know and we'll meet in Jasper. I expect to get to the campsite before lunch on Friday.

We scouted it out last weekend and the area is very fun to drive. Not 4-lo stuff but nice. 4-hi is very helpful though; mud...

Not that anybody from here was coming but, expedition canceled due to threat of ice at elevations and snow. Will reschedule.

Let me know when you go. I may have time to drive down. I'm only about an hour away. Indian boundry is a great campground.
